Noah and Bamby from the virtual idol group PLAVE cured fans' Monday blues with sweet desserts. During a live broadcast on the 12th, the two shared various stories centered around the trendiest dessert lately: Dubai Chocolate Chewy Cookies (hereafter Dujjonku).
The highlight of the broadcast was undoubtedly the Dujjonku Mukbang. Noah and Bamby prepared Dujjonku from two different shops to provide detailed taste reviews for fans. After tasting the first cookie, the two were so impressed they were speechless for a moment. A heated debate broke out over the chewy texture inside the cookie—whether it was marshmallow or rice cake. While Bamby was convinced it was marshmallow, Noah disagreed, calling the moist and elastic texture a perfect rice cake, which drew laughter. Noah shared that this was his happiest content so far and didn't hold back in calling the shop legendary.
Showing his sincerity toward desserts, Noah announced a plan to make healthy Dubai cookies himself, noting that commercial ones are often too sweet or high in calories. He revealed a specific recipe using air-fried bean noodles instead of Kadaif to maintain the texture, and sugar-free chocolate with allulose to control the sweetness. He displayed his culinary genius by suggesting wrapping the outside with rice paper or thin rice cakes instead of marshmallows to add chewiness.
Throughout the broadcast, the unique playful banter and sweet atmosphere of Ppeun-line (Noah and Bamby's unit name) continued. Fans responded enthusiastically, saying things like, I felt vicarious satisfaction watching them eat, The sound of the Dujjonku is art, and I'm looking forward to Noah's healthy recipe.
