Actor Cha Eun-woo, also known as Astro, expressed his disappointment in a video before enlisting. On the 11th, a video titled "'Climbing' Contents l As I climb, my muscles are totally going crazy~" was posted on Cha Eun-woo's YouTube channel. The video was filmed in November when it was snowing, and Cha Eun-woo said, "It's snowing outside. Since today's content is climbing, I came out wearing a padded jacket and half pants, so people looked at me a bit strangely."
Cha Eun-woo revealed a 'Paris Olympics 2024' T-shirt, saying, "It was exactly this period when I went to an overseas show before." He added, "I'll do it with the Olympic spirit today. I worked out this morning, so I'm a bit worn out. This is my first climbing challenge today, but if I find it fun, I plan to keep it as a hobby."
Starting with learning how to fall safely before serious climbing, Cha Eun-woo landed in order on his feet, hips, and back, but complained of pain after hitting the microphone battery on his back. Looking at the PD, he said, "You knew about the fall and the mic, right?" which made people laugh. Upon hearing the explanation that "ordinary people usually challenge up to level 3," Cha Eun-woo boldly declared he would attempt level 6. After attempting level 3, he used chalk and showed his mischievous side by asking, "Who wants to shake hands with me?"
However, Cha Eun-woo failed repeatedly at level 6. While resting on the floor, he said, "I'm a bit disappointed with the PD. I sent a 'Yep' and an emoji after receiving the script, but the '1' still hasn't disappeared. It's our first KakaoTalk message," exposing the PD for ignoring his message. The PD promised, "I thought I had read it. I'll reply with a pretty emoji," creating a warm atmosphere.
Eventually, Cha Eun-woo, complaining, "My forearm muscles feel like they're going to burst," gave up on level 6 and tried level 5 instead. However, already exhausted, he had no choice but to fail the challenge. Encouraged by an expert saying, "You're doing really well for your first time," Cha Eun-woo smiled and said, "It hurts my pride. I'm left with only regret. I'll do better next time."
Cha Eun-woo is currently serving in the military, and the video released that day was filmed before his enlistment, prior to July last year.
