In this episode, Sun Jae-gyu and Yoon Bom encountered a mysterious man who was closely accompanying Choi Se-jin (Lee Jae-in), who had run away from home, while searching for her in the subway. The man's identity was revealed as Choi Yi-joon (Cha Seo-won), Sun Jae-gyu's old friend turned rival. Their unexpected reunion after ten years heightened the tension. Yi-joon discovered that Yoon Bom, who was with Sun Jae-gyu, was the daughter Jung Nan-hee (Na Young-hee) had asked him to find. The tangled hidden story between them sparked curiosity.

Sun Jae-gyu and Yoon Bom spent a night at a hotel for Sun Han-gyeol (Jo Jun-young). While Han-gyeol was away, the two unintentionally exercised together, maintaining eye contact.
