Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok win 'Best Couple UP Award'... 'Whenever There's a Chance,' ranks number one in viewership for three consecutive weeks

The SBS variety show "Whenever There's a Gap" is a variety program that gifts luck during brief moments of downtime encountered in daily life. The show airs every Tuesday at 9 PM. In a recent episode, the two MCs, Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok, proved their unmatched chemistry by winning the "Best Couple UP Award" at the 2025 SBS Entertainment Awards. The broadcast on the 6th recorded a 1.9% rating among viewers aged 20 to 49, ranking first overwhelmingly across all genres aired on Tuesday. This marks the third consecutive week the show has held the top spot in its time slot.

In the upcoming episode on the 13th, Kwon Sang-woo and Moon Chae-won will appear as "Gap Friends" alongside Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok. They promise a burst of laughter hits. On this episode, Kwon Sang-woo will make his first-ever appearance on a variety show since his debut, radiating an unusual comedic energy. Yoo Jae-suk expressed his delight, saying, "Sang-woo was originally a variety character. Now his variety sense has been unleashed." Kwon Sang-woo showed confidence, stating, "I'm 50 years old, and I'm not embarrassed at all."

During the broadcast, Kwon Sang-woo frequently makes puns and causes laughter by joking with the gap owner he meets for the first time, saying, "It's freezing outside." As soon as Kwon Sang-woo boards the bus and casually asks a citizen, "Where are you going?" Yoo Jae-suk praised him, saying, "Sang-woo's communication skills are amazing." Kwon Sang-woo is expected to become the new "Yoo Jae-suk stomach-turner," following his peer Cha Tae-hyun, generating lots of laughter.

In this episode, Yoo Jae-suk marvels, "Since Cha Tae-hyun, this guy is the one who turns my stomach," and Kwon Sang-woo adds, "I'm the same age as Tae-hyun, born in 1976," drawing more laughs. Kwon Sang-woo's comedic sense is expected to explode, creating a pleasant entertainment synergy with Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok.

Moon Chae-won will bring laughter with her "lovely job director" role aimed at Yoo Yeon-seok in this episode. Yoo Yeon-seok shows tension, saying, "If you mess up this game, your personal relationships will be ruined." They will play a quiz game where they look at actors' photos and guess their names and works. As unexpected questions continue, Yoo Yeon-seok breaks into a cold sweat, saying, "This is really an unavoidable game."

Moon Chae-won gets irritated by Yoo Yeon-seok's absurd wrong answers, grabbing his sleeve and biting her molars tightly as she tries to have a deep conversation. This scene reportedly melts the hearts of everyone around. What will Moon Chae-won's "lovely job director" look like? What will be the outcome of the quiz mission that makes Yoo Jae-suk, Yoo Yeon-seok, Kwon Sang-woo, and Moon Chae-won break into a sweat? All eyes are on the main broadcast of "Whenever There's a Gap."

"Whenever There's a Gap" will continue to air every Tuesday at 9 PM. The program promises a powerful, close-to-daily-life laughter bombardment and is receiving high expectations from viewers.
