This program ranked first in viewership ratings in its time slot across terrestrial, general programming, and cable channels for four consecutive weeks, also topping all Tuesday entertainment programs across all channels.

In this broadcast, the remaining stages of the first round's one-on-one on-site selection battle 'Scarlet Letter' continued. So Yu-mi, chosen by Shin Dong-yup, selected Baby V.O.X's main vocalist Gan Mi-yeon. So Yu-mi chose 'Terminal' and delivered a musical-like performance, while Gan Mi-yeon passionately sang 'Regretting While Crying,' scoring 848 points and advancing to the second round.

Han Yeoreum called out Hai Liang to the stage. Hai Liang selected 'Chohon' and delivered a powerful performance, but Yoon Myung-sun commented on their performances, saying, "There is no individuality." However, Hai Liang won with 884 points, giving Han Yeoreum the loser's necklace.

After all the battles concluded, 13 elimination candidates were called.
