Boy group WHIB is making a full-group comeback with their first mini-album of January, "ROCK THE NATION." WHIB returns to the music scene with this mini-album, the first release since reorganizing into a seven-member group consisting of Kim Jun-min, Ha Seung, Jin-beom, Yoo Geon, Lee Jeong, Jae-ha, and Won-jun.
At midnight on the 14th, a coming soon teaser video announcing the release of "ROCK THE NATION" was unveiled on WHIB's official SNS and YouTube channel. The video captured attention with scenes of a gray city, destroyed buildings, and a TV screen with noise. The phrases "WE ROCK THE NATION" and the album title appeared sequentially on the TV screen, arousing curiosity about the album.
"ROCK THE NATION" was first announced during the Asia fan concert tour "AnD : New Chapter," held from November last year to January this year in five cities: Seoul, Tokyo, Bangkok, Osaka, and Taipei. WHIB meets the expectations of global fans with the release of this mini-album.
WHIB debuted in 2023 with their first single album "Cut-Out." Since then, they have released several single albums including "ETERNAL YOUTH : KICK IT," "Rush of Joy," and "BANG OUT," showcasing high-quality performances and a broad musical spectrum. Each album expressed diverse concepts through different key colors, proving their potential as a "hexagonal idol."
In their third year since debut, WHIB plans to demonstrate musical growth with their first mini-album this year. Last year, members Kim Jun-min, Lee Jeong, and Won-jun showcased their outstanding skills on Mnet's "Boys 2 Planet." Following that, the group strengthened their global fandom by proving their full-group synergy through the fan concert tour.
The release date and detailed information about WHIB's first mini-album "ROCK THE NATION," after reorganizing into a seven-member group, will be announced later.
