BTS Jimin's 'Who' charts on Billboard for 72 consecutive weeks... First K-pop solo song to do so

BTS Jimin has reached an important milestone in his solo career. According to the American music media Billboard, Jimin's second solo album "MUSE" title track "Who" re-entered the Billboard Global 200 chart at number 188, marking its 72nd week on the chart. This is recorded as the first and only K-pop solo song to spend 72 weeks on the chart.

"Who" has previously reached number 1 twice on the Billboard Global 200 chart. With this re-entry, Jimin has further solidified his status as a K-pop solo artist. Additionally, on the Billboard Global (excluding U.S.) chart, the song rose 19 spots from last week to number 133, achieving 76 weeks on the chart. This is also the first and only K-pop solo song to enter the chart for 76 weeks.

Jimin's achievement is even more notable because it was accomplished without collaborations with famous Western artists. This highlights Jimin's solo capabilities and demonstrates the potential of K-pop artists in the global market. Previously, Jimin's first solo album "FACE" title track "Like Crazy" spent 61 weeks on the Billboard Global 200 chart and 68 weeks on the Global (excluding U.S.) chart. "Who" has become the second longest-charting K-pop solo song among these two tracks.

Furthermore, the second album "MUSE," which is the first and only K-pop solo album to achieve eight number 1s on the Billboard World Albums chart, ranked 14th this week, marking its 77th consecutive week on the chart. This is recorded as the first and only K-pop solo album to spend 77 weeks on this chart.

Jimin's "Who" ranked 57th on the main Billboard year-end Hot 100 chart for 2025. It is the only K-pop solo song without collaborations to enter this chart, further highlighting Jimin's achievements as a solo artist.

These records contribute to strengthening Jimin's position as a K-pop solo artist. His music receives great response from fans both domestically and internationally, playing an important role in expanding K-pop's global influence. Jimin's achievements are regarded as examples that show the future and potential of K-pop.
