Seventeen Dokyeom and Seungkwan's new song 'Blue' vocal challenge with stars like Davichi and Younha gains attention

Doyoung and Seungkwan of the group Seventeen are gaining attention with their new song "Blue" through a vocal challenge. Recently, they released the "Blue" challenge on their official channel, featuring participation from the group Davichi, singer Lee Mujin, Younha, and RIIZE's Sohee. This challenge consists of videos where each artist reinterprets the original song with their own unique style.

Seungkwan sang the highlight of "Blue" alongside Davichi's Lee Haeri, drawing attention for their emotionally rich voices and original harmonies. After performing an unplugged live session with Lee Mujin, Doyoung also delivered a sweet duet with Davichi's Kang Minkyung. Younha and RIIZE's Sohee each presented solo versions of "Blue," receiving praise. Younha maximized the winter sentiment with delicate emotional expression, while Sohee captivated viewers with her unique vocal tone interpreting the original song.

Global fans responded to the videos showcasing each artist's charm and talent with comments like "A treat for the ears created by masters of emotion" and "A challenge made possible by solid skills."

Additionally, Seungkwan conducted a unique challenge singing "Blue" with the popular character "90s-born Hwang Eun-jung" from the YouTube channel "Office View Industry." The contrast between Hwang Eun-jung's exaggerated singing style and Seungkwan's effort to hold back laughter provided fresh entertainment.

Among fans, the "reaction challenge" to the "Blue" cinema version music video is trending. Fans share self-cam videos capturing their tears while watching the work. Fueled by this response, the music video entered the daily popular music video rankings on YouTube in South Korea, Japan, and Canada.

The song ranked first on Bugs' real-time chart on the day of its release and reached third place on South Korea's YouTube real-time trending music chart.

Doyoung and Seungkwan are scheduled to perform "Blue" starting with Mnet's "M Countdown" on the 15th, followed by KBS 2TV's "Music Bank" and "The Seasons - 10cm's Ssedam Ssedam" on the 16th, and SBS's "Inkigayo" on the 18th. They also showcased a live performance of the new song in the second episode of their self-produced content "Going Doyoung X Seungkwan Special: Villain Ppudo," released on the 14th, demonstrating vocal skills worthy of their "Mevoz" reputation.

This "Blue" challenge once again proves Seventeen's musical capabilities and serves as an opportunity to strengthen communication with fans. The participation of various artists has enriched the challenge, allowing fans to experience diverse interpretations and emotions.

Seventeen's "Blue" has become more than just a new song; it stands as an important medium that strengthens the bond between artists and fans. They plan to continue engaging with fans through various stages and content in the future.
