Singer Hwasa has set a new record on domestic music charts with "Good Good Bye." The cumulative number of "Perfect All-Kill (PAK)" has surpassed 656 times, making her the domestic singer with the most PAK records. According to iChart, an online integrated music ranking site, as of 12:30 PM on the 13th, "Good Good Bye" has achieved a cumulative total of 656 PAKs since its first PAK on November 30th last year.
iChart awards a PAK every hour when a song ranks first on all six major music platforms—Melon, Genie, Bugs, YouTube Music, Flo, and Vibe—in their daily, weekly, real-time charts, and iChart's own rankings. With this record, "Good Good Bye" ranks high within the PAK rankings. It is second overall, including overseas songs, following Huntrix's "Golden" (1,484 times), and ranks first among domestic singers. Previous records include NewJeans's "Ditto" (655 times), BTS's "Dynamite" (610 times), and IU's "Celebrity" (462 times).
Stage effects played a crucial role in the success of "Good Good Bye." On November 19th last year, the congratulatory stage featuring Hwasa and actor Park Jung-min at the 46th Blue Dragon Film Awards gained huge popularity, causing the song's ranking to soar. This triggered a "reverse run syndrome." The song continued its popularity by reaching the top of major charts on November 22nd, just 38 days after its release.
Hwasa won first place on SBS's "Inkigayo," which aired on the 11th, achieving a grand slam of four music show wins. She also secured six crowns on the Circle Chart, ranked first for two consecutive weeks on Billboard Korea's newly established chart "Billboard Korea Hot 100," and achieved her first number one on the "Billboard World Digital Song Sales" chart, continuing her success.
Hwasa will hold her concert "Mi Casa" for two days on the 17th and 18th at Kyung Hee University Peace Hall in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul. This concert is Hwasa's first solo concert in 12 years since her debut and will be a stage that compresses the musical world of solo artist Hwasa. Attention is focused on what charming stages and performances Hwasa, who is making new history in the music industry, will present through her solo concert.
