Kang Daniel enlists on February 9... Farewell to fans with 'Pulse Phase'

Singer Kang Daniel, formerly of the group Wanna One, will enlist in the active duty army on February 9. According to a statement released by his agency Aira on the 15th, Kang Daniel, born in 1996, has continuously received questions regarding his enlistment. At a press conference for his sixth mini-album "Glow to Haze" last June, he mentioned, "I plan to show and leave behind as much as I can as a singer before I go."

Kang Daniel announced his recently released mini-album "PULSEPHASE" as his last album before enlistment. He debuted as a member of Wanna One after winning first place on Mnet's "Produce 101" Season 2, and after the group's activities ended, he debuted as a solo artist in July 2019. Since then, he has released full-length albums, various mini-albums, and singles, continuing to communicate with his fans.

Before enlisting, Kang Daniel will participate only in the initial episodes of a Wanna One reality variety show being prepared by Mnet. This is considered one of the last activities he will show fans before beginning his military service. News of Kang Daniel's enlistment has attracted great attention among fans, who are increasingly looking forward to his activities after completing his service.

As a solo artist, Kang Daniel has been building his career and maintaining his relationship with fans through various musical experiments. His enlistment marks the end of a phase of communication with fans, who are expected to eagerly await his return.

During Kang Daniel's military service, his musical activities will be paused, but fans will continue to feel his presence through the music and activities he has left behind.
