Singer Tei revealed his experience of returning home in a wheelchair after suffering full-body burns during a past trip to Thailand. The video aired on the YouTube channel 'Jo Hyun-ah's Ordinary Thursday Night' on the 15th featured Lee Ki-chan, Tei, and Na Yoon-kwon sharing updates and memories.
In the video, Na Yoon-kwon said, "My first overseas trip was to Thailand, and I went with Tei hyung," adding, "There was even an article saying we went on a honeymoon together." This comment caused laughter. Na Yoon-kwon continued, "He even entered the country in a wheelchair, and I was the one who pushed it." Tei responded with a laugh, "I never thought of it that way."
Na Yoon-kwon also explained why Tei ended up in a wheelchair. He recalled, "In Thailand, it's so hot between 12 and 2 p.m. that even locals don't go out much. But since we were on a yacht feeling the sea breeze, we didn't realize how hot it was and both took off our clothes to tan." He added, "Hyung fell asleep like that and later suffered second- to third-degree burns all over his body. On the way back, he even collapsed in the car." Tei remembered, "The breeze was so cool that I didn't realize how hot it was."
Tei debuted in 2004 with "Love Leaves a Scent." Since then, he has released several hit songs such as "Look-Alike" and "Same Pillow," establishing himself as a leading ballad singer. Recently, he has been expanding his activities into various fields including variety shows, musicals, and the food service business.
This broadcast provided an opportunity to look back on the harrowing moment Tei experienced in the past. It also received positive responses from viewers as they shared laughter and precious memories with friends.
