Jungkook decorates the cover of Japan's 'Elle'... Sold out in 40 minutes

BTS Jungkook recently set another record. Jungkook's special edition magazine for spring 2026 is scheduled to be released by the fashion magazine ELLE Japan, and it sold out on the Japanese major record store HMV's online site about 40 minutes after pre-orders began. This is seen as further proof of Jungkook's immense popularity.

The ELLE Japan 2026 spring special edition magazine featuring Jungkook on the cover will be released on January 28. The magazine consists of 32 pages and showcases various charms of Jungkook. Additionally, it quickly rose to number one on the real-time bestseller list at Korea's largest online bookstore Yes24 about two hours after pre-orders started, gaining great popularity domestically as well.

On the 9th, all nine individual versions and set versions of ELLE's January 2026 issue featuring Jungkook were completely sold out on Weverse Shop. This again confirmed his popularity as a solo artist.

Jungkook's pictorial video was posted on ELLE Korea's official Instagram on the 4th, and the video themed "The city of Paris through Jungkook's gaze, and everything about Chanel perfume" recorded 24.25 million views in 10 days, receiving explosive reactions.

Jungkook ranked first on Billboard's "2024 Billboard K-Pop Artist 100" list and was also included in the "2023 Top Pop Stars" list. He achieved a double win at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards, winning "K-Pop Artist of the Year" and "Best Music Video" for "Seven," setting the record for the most awards won by an Asian solo artist.

Jungkook won the "Male Artist of the Year" award at the 2024 People's Choice Awards, marking the first and only time an Asian artist has received this honor. He was the only Korean male singer included in Rolling Stone's "200 Greatest Singers of All Time" list and was selected for Gold House's "A100," a list of the most influential Asians supporting cultural and artistic figures in the Asia-Pacific region. These achievements further solidify Jungkook's global status.

Jungkook was offered to perform his solo song "Standing Next to You" with R&B singer Usher at the 2024 Super Bowl Halftime Show but reportedly could not accept the invitation due to his military service. This shows that he continues to attract high interest even during his military service period.

These achievements indicate that Jungkook is continuing a successful path as a solo artist. Fans and the public are showing great interest in his activities, and attention is focused on his future endeavors.
