In the episode of MBC's "Judge Lee Han-young" aired on the 17th, Han-young (played by Ji-sung) revealed Na-yeon's (played by Baek Jin-hee) attempts to keep an eye on the relationship between him and Se-hee (played by Oh Se-young). Following Han-young's instructions, Se-hee met with Prosecutor General Eom, emphasizing her father-daughter relationship with Seon-cheol (played by Ahn Nae-sang) and arranged a meeting with Han-young. Upon Han-young's arrival, Prosecutor General Eom expressed displeasure, saying, "What are a Seoul Central District Court judge and the daughter of Haenal Law Firm doing?"
Han-young presented evidence of crimes related to the daughter of the Minister of Justice nominee, Kyo Hoon, stating, "This should be enough to arrest Kyo Hoon's daughter. Children don't always follow their parents' wishes, whether daughters or sons." Prosecutor General Eom warned, "Stop this nonsense and leave. If you continue to be rude, neither of you will be safe," but Han-young retorted, "What time is it in Washington now? Have the employees of Haenal Law Firm's Washington branch made an arrest?"
Angrily, Prosecutor General Eom asked, "What are you two doing right now?" Han-young had already reviewed a video showing Eom's son, who is studying in Washington, using drugs. Han-young emphasized, "Assemblyman Kyo Hoon is a deeply flawed person. If all this comes out, as you know, the prosecution will be tainted with accusations of interfering in the presidential election. You must prevent such a person from becoming the Minister of Justice."
When Prosecutor General Eom asked, "Are you still a judge after doing this?" Han-young replied, "I know my methods are unclean and impure. But you won't get hurt, sir. Please consider that there are judges outside the courtroom as well." Se-hee, aware of Han-young's background, received a promise: "You want Haenal Law Firm, right? I'll make sure Yoo Se-hee gets Haenal Law Firm."
That day, Han-young took over the trial of the Nam-myeon District Office case, which Hana (played by Baek Seung-hee) was handling. Hana pleaded with Se-hee, "If you're dating him, shouldn't you be nice to me? I could be your future sister-in-law. Is it hard to just say that Haenal Law Firm is handling this case? Knowing something and saying something are different." She also set a condition, "I'll give you the DeMario bag. You know it's a limited edition and even if you have money, you can't buy it, right?"
Se-hee waited for Han-young's contact and asked, "Do you have plans? Even if you do, let's eat together next time. I'll pay," requesting a date. At that moment, Na-yeon appeared and invited them to eat, to which Se-hee openly said, "Hey? He's mine first." Se-hee linked arms with Han-young, showing affection and provoking Na-yeon.
Knowing Se-hee was an employee of Haenal Law Firm, Na-yeon shouted, "You two have already taken sides. If a judge and a law firm take sides, it's over. I'm disappointed," and turned away. Han-young told Se-hee, "Tell Yoo Hana that things went well. From Chu Yong-jin to the local district assemblyman Kang Jeong-tae, they will all be arrested. So, pass my message to Yoo Hana and stay out of it." Se-hee felt a flutter in her heart at Han-young's casual tone.
Towards the end of the episode, with the help of Jung-ho (played by Tae Won-ho), Han-young was shown burying Yong-jin alive, which brought a sense of satisfaction to the viewers.
