
NiziU member Riku fulfilled her lifelong dream of having a birthday party on stage during the group's tour, creating unforgettable memories.
The fifth part of NiziU's tour documentary, NEW EMOTION: Face To Face, released on January 18th, highlighted Riku's birthday episode during the Hiroshima performance. This birthday held special significance not only for Riku but also for her family and fans.
Riku confessed that spending her birthday on stage was one of the top items on her life's bucket list. She shared that she had been excited since the tour dates were first announced and she realized her birthday coincided with a performance day. Notably, her entire family, including her parents, attended this performance to witness her growth and share the joy.
The thoughtful gestures from the members and staff also stood out. NiziU members held a pre-party starting the day before the performance to celebrate Riku. On the day of the show, all staff members wore merchandise featuring Riku's character, Richu, while working, creating a heartwarming surprise. Moved by the selfless love from those around her, Riku eventually teared up with emotion.
In her speech, Riku expressed her deep gratitude to the fans, family, and members who created such a precious space, saying, "I feel like the luckiest person in the world." Her family was also reportedly touched and filled with happiness seeing Riku celebrated by so many fans.
