Lim Young-woong, Pre-debut Convenience Store Part-time Job Anecdote "It Was Like a Movie" Why?

A movie-like episode experienced by "National Singer" Lim Young-woong during his pre-debut days working part-time at a convenience store is delivering touching emotion to fans.

In a video clip from the JTBC variety show 'Knowing Bros', which has recently become a hot topic again on YouTube, Lim Young-woong confessed a special memory from before he became a singer.

At the time, Lim Young-woong, who had graduated from a practical music department and dreamed of becoming a singer, was living a restless daily life, working at a restaurant in the morning and a convenience store in the evening to make a living. He conveyed his desperation at the time, saying, "I didn't have time to practice singing because I was working part-time all day. I was starving for a stage."

The incident occurred late at night when there were no customers. Lim Young-woong was passionately singing Im Se-jun's 'Don't Go Today' alone at the convenience store counter, immersing himself in practice. While he was absorbed in the song with his eyes closed, he felt a presence and opened his eyes, only to stop singing in surprise at the fact that a male customer was watching him.

Just as Lim Young-woong was about to apologize saying, "I'm sorry," an unexpected reaction returned. The customer applauded Lim Young-woong and offered warm encouragement, saying, "It looks like you are preparing for an audition, I hope you pass."

It turned out that the customer saw Lim Young-woong singing and waited quietly behind him until the song was over without even choosing items, fearing he might interrupt. Lim Young-woong recalled the overwhelming emotion of that moment, saying, "He clapped when I stopped singing, and it was so like a movie. It was a huge emotion that someone listened to my song and applauded."

The customer, who could have been mistaken for a 'thief', was actually his 'first fan' and 'audience'. This story, which combines Lim Young-woong's passion for not giving up on his dream even during his difficult obscurity days and the warm consideration of a citizen who recognized him, is warming the hearts of many.
