
Singer Lee Chan-won will take on the role of MC for the real storytelling talk show "SurfRIIZE Mystery Salon." The program will premiere on January 25 at 10:40 AM. MBC's "SurfRIIZE Mystery Salon" is a newly launched show following a three-month revamp of "Mysterious TV SurfRIIZE." Lee Chan-won will co-host alongside comedian Kwak Beom and announcer Park So-young.
In a released video, Lee Chan-won announced the start of the broadcast by shouting, "Searching for the secrets hidden beneath the mystery, SurfRIIZE Mystery Salon." He declared that the show will reveal only real mysteries, not falsehoods. The first episode will feature a battle over the truth surrounding the "perpetrator of a 26-year-old unsolved case." Throughout this process, shocking realities beyond the mystery will be uncovered, and the story will remain unpredictable until the end.
Lee Chan-won previewed that a treasure worth 600 billion won will be revealed for the first time on the show. He sparked viewers' curiosity with a surprised expression, saying, "600 billion, wow~." Additionally, he intensified the intrigue with the impactful statement, "Preserved even with the bloodstains." Finally, Lee Chan-won raised viewers' expectations by emphasizing, "This is fun, this segment is really fun."
Meanwhile, Lee Chan-won is currently conducting the 2025-2026 nationwide tour concert "Changa: A Brilliant Day." The tour will start in Busan from January 31 to February 1, then continue in Gwangju from February 21 to 22 and March 7 to 8, and finally in Daejeon from March 28 to 29, where he will meet fans.
Lee Chan-won was also selected as the sole MC for KBS's "Seol Special 2026 Lucky Trot Festival." This program is scheduled to air during the Lunar New Year holiday. Lee Chan-won continues to actively engage with fans through various activities.
