
The group BTS has announced the start of their new world tour, demonstrating strong ticket power. BTS will hold "BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG' IN GOYANG" at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium on April 9, 11, and 12. Their agency, BigHit Music, announced on the 23rd that all seats for the third show sold out during the fan club pre-sale. This reflects the high expectations of fans for BTS's return.
Riding on the success of the Goyang concerts, BTS has confirmed one additional show each in Tampa and Stanford, USA. Notably, the solo concert at Stanford Stadium marks the second time after Coldplay that such an event has taken place, reaffirming their global influence.
The "BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG'" will begin in Goyang and continue to Tokyo Dome in Japan on April 17 and 18. Following that, a total of 81 shows are scheduled across 34 cities in North America, Europe, South America, and Asia. This will be the largest number of shows in K-pop tour history.
Global interest in BTS can be seen in various countries. On the 19th, Claudia Sheinbaum, the President of Mexico City, stated, "We welcome the realization of this concert. It is a historic moment." BTS's concerts in Mexico will be held on May 7, 9, and 10 at Estadio GNP Seguros.
Major U.S. media outlets are also paying attention to BTS's world tour. Forbes reported, "This scale sets a new standard in the touring history of Korean artists," while USA Today said, "They will make history once again through this concert."
BTS is scheduled to release their fifth full-length album, "ARIRANG," on March 20. The album will contain 14 tracks and address universal emotions such as the group's identity, longing, and deep love. Through this album, BTS plans to present sincere music that reflects their current selves.
