Mistrot 4 ranks first for 6 consecutive weeks with a 13.1% viewership rating... Yeom Yuri wins overwhelmingly 17 to 0


TV CHOSUN's "Miss Trot 4" recorded a nationwide viewership rating of 13.1% in the broadcast on January 22. This marks the sixth consecutive week that it has ranked first in daily ratings across all channels. The peak viewership rating reached 14%. In this episode, the final 1:1 death match took place, and the passionate performances of the trot queens received great acclaim from viewers.

Yoo Subi performed Hwang Geumsim's "Samdado News" in a unique style and defeated 11-year yoga instructor Lee Yoonna with a score of 16 to 1. Yoo Subi's stage left a strong impression, showcasing her potential.

The match between Kim Subin and Wan Yihwa also drew attention. Kim Subin dominated the stage by singing Noh Sa-yeon's "The Winding Road" with her distinctive sweet voice. Meanwhile, Wan Yihwa carefully performed Jung Seo-joo's "Wind, Wind" and won 10 to 7. The original artist, Master Jung Seo-joo, highly praised Wan Yihwa's performance.

Emotions ran high in the match between Yoon Taehwa and Kim Dana. Yoon Taehwa tearfully sang Oh Seung-geun's "Leaving Lover," recalling her late grandmother. Kim Dana prepared a stage for her father suffering from dementia and sang Kim Hee-jae's "Barang." Kim Dana won decisively with a score of 14 to 3. The original artist, Kim Hee-jae, did not hold back in praising Kim Dana's talent.

The match between Yumi and Jeokwoo also attracted attention. Yumi impressed the masters with Nam Jin's "Sangsa Flower," while Jeokwoo moved the audience by singing Yoon Bok-hee's "Everyone." Jeokwoo survived by a narrow margin of 9 to 8, adding tears to the emotional moment.

In the match between Lee Sona and Heo Chanmi, Lee Sona completed Kim Yong-im's "Thousand-Year Crane" with unique articulation and vocal skills. Heo Chanmi received love from the audience with Nam Jin's "With You," enhanced by a Beyoncé-inspired performance. The result was Heo Chanmi's victory, and both performances were well received.

Yeom Yuri stood out by defeating Park Hongjoo 17 to 0. Yeom Yuri performed Jeong Eesong's "Dear" with a heartfelt trot voice. On the other hand, Park Hongjoo left regrets with her stage "By Chance" and was eliminated.

A total of 18 winners in this broadcast secured advancement to the third round of the finals. Through on-site voting by the national representative group, Hong Sung-yoon and Yumi were additionally qualified, and the master picks included Lee Sona, Yoon Taehwa, Jung Hyerin, Kim Hyejin, and Jang Hyeri. Thus, a total of 25 contestants advanced to the third round of the finals.

The additional qualifiers shed tears of relief, while the eliminated trot queens could not hide their disappointment. Next week's broadcast will feature new competitions among the trot queens who advanced to the third round of the finals. "Miss Trot 4" airs every Thursday at 10 PM.
