Highlight member Yang Yoseob will release his third solo mini-album, "Unloved Echo," on February 9.

On the 26th at midnight, Yang Yoseob revealed the "Unloved Echo" comeback trailer video and schedule plan image through Highlight's official SNS and YouTube channel. The album title broadly encompasses the lingering traces of fading love and the echo that remains in the heart even after love ends.

The trailer video begins with Yang Yoseob loading and turning film in a projector. It then shows a scene of him alone in an empty theater, staring at the screen projected by the projector, creating a deep atmosphere. In a softly lit space, he is seen gazing at a flower vase with hollow eyes or sitting beside a piano, expressing wistful emotions. At the end of the video, the phrase "This is about a short story of a fading love" appears along with a shot of Yang Yoseob walking toward the screen, hinting at the album's story.

In the schedule plan image, Yang Yoseob creates a mysterious mood wearing pure white wings. Before the comeback on February 9, the tracklist, album preview, FOREWORD poem version of the poster and image, SEQUENCE cinema version of the poster and image, three versions of concept photos, Highlight medley, and music video teaser will be released sequentially. The lyrical keywords of poetry and cinema highlight Yang Yoseob's new concept.

"Unloved Echo" is Yang Yoseob's first solo album in 4 years and 5 months since his first full-length album "Chocolate Box," released in September 2021. As Highlight's main vocalist and solo artist, Yang Yoseob has showcased his unique vocal skills and charming tone through group activities, various OSTs, and project songs. Last year, he received favorable reviews from audiences for his role as the protagonist Werther in the musical "Werther."
