Broadcaster Park Soo-hong donated approximately 30 million won to Aesin Orphanage, which he has supported for 25 years. On January 15, Park Soo-hong visited Aesin Orphanage located in Dongducheon, Gyeonggi Province, delivering a donation of 25 million won along with galbitang worth about 5 million won. The galbitang was a product from the brand for which Park Soo-hong serves as a model, given with the meaning of encouraging the children to eat tteokguk to celebrate the New Year.

This donation was raised through a special fundraising broadcast project Park Soo-hong held ahead of Christmas last year. On December 23, he collaborated with the childcare product brand Angel & B and Kakao to conduct an interactive donation event on Kakao Shopping Live. In this broadcast, Park Soo-hong donated his entire appearance fee of 10 million won, 5 million won contributed by Angel & B, and 10 million won raised through the Kakao Together campaign, all to Aesin Orphanage.

Park Soo-hong said, "I am just one participant in this donation. I am grateful to Angel & B and Kakao for gathering such good intentions." He added, "Everyone who participated in this live donation broadcast became a part of the donation. It is proof that our society is still warm and worth living in."

Park Soo-hong visited Aesin Orphanage again about seven months after his visit in June last year. On this day, he enjoyed various experience programs with the children and also helped prepare and serve meals. His relationship with Aesin Orphanage dates back to 2001. Since his first visit through a broadcast program, he has continuously supported the orphanage for 25 years.

In 2019, he supported the complete asbestos removal work of the orphanage building ahead of winter. In 2021, despite facing financial difficulties due to an embezzlement case involving his older brother and sister-in-law, it was revealed that he donated 10 million won to Aesin Orphanage. Park Soo-hong said, "I did not help Aesin Orphanage unilaterally. Seeing the children who grew up healthy here and became members of society brings me greater joy and gratitude."

The brand that participated in this donation stated, "It was meaningful because we moved together with the same heart," and added, "We plan to continue various donations and volunteer activities in the future." Park Soo-hong's continuous donation activities have a positive impact on society, and his spirit of giving serves as a role model for many.
