BTS, ranked first in singer brand reputation in 2026... Black Pink rapidly rises to second place


In the January 2026 singer brand reputation analysis, BTS ranked first. The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute analyzed 116,391,810 pieces of singer brand big data from December 24, 2025, to January 24, 2026, evaluating consumer brand participation, media, communication, and community. In this analysis, the singer brand big data increased by 7.30% from 108,476,322 in December.

The singer brand reputation index is calculated by extracting singer brand big data that presents music loved by consumers and analyzing consumer behavior to classify participation value, communication value, media value, and community value, followed by positive and negative ratio analysis and reputation analysis algorithms. This indicator helps understand who, where, how, how much, and why people talk about the brand.

The top 30 singer brand reputation rankings for January 2026 were analyzed as follows: BTS, Black Pink, Lim Young Woong, Hwasa, IVE, Eyelet, EXO, Seventeen, Kim Yong Bin, Lee Chan-won, Cho Yong-pil, aespa, Cortis, Park Ji-hyun, Han Roro, Jang Yoon-jung, Park Seo-jin, fromis_9, Young Tak, Son Tae-jin, TWS, Taeyeon, WOODS, Jung Dong-won, LE SSERAFIM, Hearts to Hearts, BIBI, Joy, Alphadriveone, and 10CM.

The brand reputation index of BTS, who ranked first, was analyzed at 7,409,314, including a participation index of 261,097, media index of 927,857, communication index of 2,545,645, and community index of 3,674,716. Compared to the brand reputation index of 6,809,220 in December, this is an 8.81% increase.

The brand reputation index of Black Pink, ranked second, was 6,213,487, including a participation index of 148,866, media index of 545,540, communication index of 2,325,330, and community index of 3,193,750. This figure rose 76.65% from 3,517,427 in December.

The brand reputation index of Lim Young Woong, ranked third, was 5,231,902, including a participation index of 881,305, media index of 1,528,397, communication index of 1,620,725, and community index of 1,201,475. This is a 13.60% decrease compared to 6,055,100 in December.

Hwasa, ranked fourth, had a brand reputation index of 4,833,580, including a participation index of 676,681, media index of 1,578,488, communication index of 1,261,432, and community index of 1,316,979. This is a 37.42% increase compared to 3,517,427 in December.

The brand reputation index of IVE, ranked fifth, was 4,647,200, including a participation index of 275,450, media index of 1,014,777, communication index of 1,416,304, and community index of 1,940,668. This is a 12.17% decrease compared to 5,291,094 in December.

Koo Chang-hwan, director of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, stated, "In the January 2026 singer brand reputation analysis, BTS ranked first. Analyzing the singer brand category, the singer brand big data increased by 7.30% compared to last December. Detailed analysis showed brand consumption rose 12.90%, brand issues decreased 0.09%, brand communication increased 15.35%, and brand diffusion increased 4.41%."

He added, "BTS, who announced a full-group comeback with a world tour, ranked first; Black Pink, who left a strong impression with the Pink World Tour, ranked second; Lim Young Woong, who nurtures positive influence with the fandom community, ranked third; Hwasa, who topped domestic music charts, ranked fourth; and IVE, who announced a comeback in February and attracted consumer attention, ranked fifth."

This singer brand reputation survey was conducted through big data analysis of a total of 30 singers, including BTS, Black Pink, Lim Young Woong, Hwasa, and IVE.
