SEVENTEEN's DK Reveals Secret to Sorrowful Eye Acting

DK of the group SEVENTEEN cited "empty stomach" as the source of his compelling breakup acting, bringing laughter.

On the 26th, a video titled "Ordinary Notes #5 | DK X SEUNGKWAN (SEVENTEEN)," featuring behind-the-scenes footage of their unit song music video, was posted on SEVENTEEN's official YouTube channel. The video captured the two members filming the epilogue version of the "Blue" music video against a snowy background.

On this day, ahead of a scene requiring sad and calm emotions, DK received direction from a staff member saying, "Your tension is too high right now (Up). You need to be a bit more down."

In response, DK did not panic and immediately immersed himself in the emotion. He said, "I'm hungry right now. So now I'm sad," and instantly stiffened his expression. He then boasted of his moist eyes completed through hunger, saying, "I can't eat food. Aren't my eyes a bit wistful?" turning the set into a sea of laughter.

Thanks to DK's witty "hunger acting theory," the filming proceeded in a cheerful atmosphere. Seungkwan, having sublimated hunger into sadness, turned into a serious expression as soon as the camera started rolling, perfectly expressing the loneliness after a breakup.

Meanwhile, on this day, DK and Seungkwan finished filming while encouraging each other despite the adverse conditions of freezing weather and having to wade through snowy fields. Looking at the dazzling snowy scenery, DK could not help but admire, saying, "AI cannot beat this. This naturalness is truly insane."
