Doyoung, a member of the group Seventeen, graced the cover of the fashion magazine W Korea. According to HYBE Music Group label Pledis Entertainment on the 27th, Doyoung exuded a mature charm in the newly released W Korea Vol.2. He collaborated with the American luxury fashion house Polo Ralph Lauren to showcase outfits that modernly reinterpret Western styles from classic Western films.
In an interview conducted alongside the photoshoot, Doyoung shared behind-the-scenes stories about the production of the mini album Soyagok, which he worked on with Seungkwan. He explained, "Seungkwan and I have quite different vocal styles, but there are definitely overlapping points as well. The title track 'Blue' was created by blending our styles well." He added, "We kept refining the song through continuous discussions with Seungkwan. I think the song gradually gained its own meaning during this process."
Doyoung also revealed a deeper side as an artist. He said, "In the past, cool high notes and explosive volume seemed impressive. Now, my standards have changed. It seems more important whether you have your own color and how long you have honed it." He also stated, "These days, I believe there is nothing more admirable than not giving up easily and continuing to move forward."
Since the release of Soyagok, Doyoung has been actively participating in various vocal content and entertainment programs. He gained popularity by appearing on popular YouTube shows such as Cellphone Code, Limousine Service, and Hyel's Club. Recently, he showcased his outstanding vocal skills by consecutively appearing on Islive 2 and Record Delivery with Seungkwan.
