'Project Y' is a crime entertainment movie starring Han So-hee and Jeon Jong-seo. The story follows Miseon and Dokyung, who dream of a different tomorrow in a dazzling city and end up stealing black money and gold bars at the edge of their lives. The LP edition consists of a total of 19 tracks, carefully selected from the full digital soundtrack to include the vocal songs and main scores that most effectively lead the film's emotional line and development. SIDE A features vocal tracks that define the film's impression. SIDE B is filled with a score-centered selection arranged by music director Gray. The music follows the city's rhythm, the temperature of scenes, and subtle changes in characters' psychology, seamlessly connecting emotional nuances that dialogue cannot reach. The score tracks vividly recreate the film's world on the unique texture of analog records.

Music director Gray interpreted the characters' emotions and flow musically from the screenplay stage, working so that the vocal songs and scores function not just as inserts but as devices driving the narrative.
