Group Highlight member Yang Yoseob is releasing his third solo mini album, "Unloved Echo," after 4 years and 5 months. On the 27th, Yang Yoseob revealed the tracklist of the album through Highlight's official SNS.
The third mini album contains a total of six songs. It includes the title track "Fade Away," as well as "Dear My," "Don't Leave," "Moonlit Mirage," "Every Night," and "Shine." The album title "Unloved Echo" refers to the afterimage and echo left in the heart even after love ends, and it is organically connected to the song titles, showcasing Yang Yoseob's unique delicate sensibility.
Yang Yoseob solely wrote the lyrics for the title track "Fade Away," directly expressing his emotions and message. The composition involved producer KZ, who worked on the title track "BRAIN" from his first full album and Highlight's "DAYDREAM" and "WAVE," marking another collaboration between the two.
Additionally, Yang Yoseob participated extensively in the lyrics, composition, and arrangement of "Don't Leave" and "Every Night," enhancing the album's completeness. The remaining tracks "Dear My," "Moonlit Mirage," and "Shine" feature only Yang Yoseob's voice without any featuring artists.
The physical album of "Unloved Echo" will be available for pre-order at various music stores starting from 12 PM on the 28th. The album will be released in two photobook versions, Poem and Cinema, as well as Jewel and Platform versions. Each version showcases different concepts and visuals of Yang Yoseob.
Yang Yoseob has steadily built his musical expertise by including self-composed songs in his solo albums such as the first full album "Chocolate Box," the second mini album "白," and the double single "20 Full Moons." This third mini album "Unloved Echo" is a work that reveals his deeper musical world.
"Unloved Echo" will be released on February 9 at 6 PM through various online music sites.
