Stray Kids has set a record as the first 4th generation K-pop boy group. They announced that the title track of their first full-length album, "神menu" (God's Menu), has surpassed 500 million cumulative streams on the global music streaming platform Spotify. With this, Stray Kids added another first to their achievements, following their recent milestone of exceeding 1.5 billion streams on Spotify with the repackaged version of their first full-length album, "IN生" (IN LIFE), marking the first time a 4th generation K-pop boy group has reached this for a single album.
"神menu" was written and composed by 3RACHA, the in-house producing team consisting of Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han. The song showcases Stray Kids' unique musical style, combining an addictive melody with experimental performances, which contributed to its global popularity.
Starting early in 2026, Stray Kids reaffirmed their status as "K-pop champions." On January 22, they attended "Le Gala des Pièces jaunes," a charity event held at La Défense Arena in Paris, where they shared the stage with renowned artists such as G-Dragon, Christina Aguilera, and A$AP Rocky, demonstrating their presence as top global artists.
Stray Kids plan to continue their active promotions. They will headline "The Governors Ball Music Festival" in New York on June 6 and "Rock in Rio" in Brazil on September 11. These events will provide opportunities for Stray Kids to connect with worldwide audiences.
These achievements indicate that Stray Kids is solidifying their position as a 4th generation K-pop boy group. They are strengthening their image not only through musical accomplishments but also as global artists, generating high expectations for their future activities.
