According to the Japan Record Association, the title track "Yet To Come" from the anthology album Proof and the track "Love Maze" from the third full album LOVE YOURSELF 轉 'Tear' surpassed 100 million and 50 million cumulative streams respectively as of December last year, earning "Platinum" and "Gold" certifications in the streaming category.
The Japan Record Association grants certifications based on cumulative streams, with Gold for over 50 million, Platinum for over 100 million, and Diamond for over 500 million streams. BTS currently holds a total of 16 Platinum certifications and 48 Gold certifications. Notably, "Dynamite" and "Butter" are the only songs by K-pop artists to have received Diamond certification.
BTS is scheduled to release their fifth full album ARIRANG at 1 PM on March 20. This album marks the resumption of full-group activities after approximately 3 years and 9 months, containing a total of 14 tracks centered on the themes of the group's identity, longing, and love.
Alongside this, BTS will embark on a world tour consisting of 82 shows across 34 cities worldwide, starting with the main stadium at Goyang Sports Complex on April 9. All 41 shows in Goyang as well as the North America and Europe tours have already sold out. BTS will hold solo concerts as the first Korean artists at venues such as Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, USA, and Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany.
These achievements by BTS contribute to raising the global recognition of K-pop and serve as an opportunity to strengthen communication with their fans. They continue to have a lasting impact on fans not only through musical accomplishments but also through performances and album releases. BTS's activities are expected to receive considerable attention going forward.
