Huening Kai of the group TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) has taken on the challenge of learning Chinese for deeper communication with fans.

On the 29th, a vlog titled "Chinese is too hard #1" was posted on TOMORROW X TOGETHER's official YouTube channel. The video features Huening Kai struggling to master Chinese, one of his goals for this year.

Regarding the reason for starting his Chinese studies, Huening Kai revealed his extraordinary love for fans, stating, "I had regrets about my acceptance speech during the Shanghai schedule last year," and added, "I started because I want to talk comfortably with local fans (MOA) in the future and know more." He set a goal to converse with locals and give a proper self-introduction within this year.

In his first proper lesson, Huening Kai had a rough start, having a 'mental breakdown' at the teacher's Chinese question, "How have you been?" However, he soon grasped the hang of it by practicing tones as if singing, and brought laughter with his cute negotiation to reduce the penalty for wrong vocabulary answers from writing them 100 times to 50 times.

Even amidst a busy schedule, Huening Kai's passion for learning did not cool down. Even during the Hong Kong tour, he devoted himself to reviewing by looking at vocabulary books and making sentences alone in his dorm.

At the end of the video, Huening Kai raised expectations for his future Chinese skills by revealing, "I will be singing the OST of the drama 'Someday or One Day' at the next concert," adding, "I will start binge-watching the drama to learn the emotional lines and improve my language skills."
