BTS V revealed his focus on self-care through exercise ahead of his comeback. On February 1st, V posted a video of himself running on Instagram. He also shared a short video showing his condition after running for 1 hour and 20 minutes. In the video, V was seen catching his breath and taking a brief rest in the locker room after finishing his workout.

In the video, V had taken off his long-sleeve T-shirt and draped it over his shoulders, showcasing his stylish fashion sense. His toned arm muscles, visible beneath the short-sleeve T-shirt sleeves, demonstrated the healthy physique he has built through long-term exercise. His sweat-soaked appearance after running for 1 hour and 20 minutes revealed a bare face without any embarrassment, and his perfectly proportioned facial line and sculpted nose displayed the looks of one of the world's top handsome men without makeup or retouching.

Before enlisting, V vowed, "I will become truly healthy and strong in the military. I will build stamina that won't tire even after doing a dozen concerts and strength that won't falter even when shoulders collide." He has continued exercising steadily after his discharge, recently managing himself through running instead of strength training. At the end of last year's live broadcast, V announced that he would not be doing weight training for a while. He explained, "Since Dionysus (2019), my shoulders have gotten worse, and because I exercised so seriously in the military, I need rehabilitation."

Despite suffering shoulder and thigh injuries while serving in the Special Duty Team (SDT) of the Military Police, V ranked first as a sharpshooter in shooting and won first place in winter urban training and shooting, earning the Military Police Exemplary Award. These achievements stand as proof of his physical strength and athletic ability.

After finishing his run on February 1st, V made a surprise visit to "Frieze House Seoul," where the "V TYPE 非 : ON-SITE IN SEOUL" exhibition was being held. Fans who were viewing the exhibition were unable to hide their surprise and joy at the unexpected encounter. V posted a photo on the fan platform Weverse, showing fans viewing the exhibition with the caption, "Behind. Behind. Behind. Me."
