
EXO's Kai has joined SBS's new variety show "But Seriously!" as a fixed cast member, beginning his communication with the public.
Kai, who recently attended the online press conference for "But Seriously!", expressed his enthusiasm for the talk show and shared his plan to lead the program by bringing out his own character. He said, "I've wanted to do a talk show for a long time, and now that I've been given a character, I think it will be even more fun."
Additionally, Kai showed anticipation for the chemistry with Tak Jae-hoon, Lee Sang-min, and Lee Su-ji, who will be working together on the program. He especially mentioned feeling comfortable working with Tak Jae-hoon, saying, "Thanks to senior Tak Jae-hoon, I think we can film in a relaxed atmosphere."
Regarding the reactions of the EXO members to his appearance on the variety show, he laughed and said, "Actually, there was no comment," and added that he plans to contact them soon. Kai also expressed his desire to communicate more closely with fans through his variety show appearances.
Meanwhile, Kai is set to release his fifth musical album on February 10, actively continuing both his music and broadcasting activities. EXO as a group has also recently demonstrated steady popularity by winning five music show awards with their "Crown" promotions.
"But Seriously!" features Tak Jae-hoon, Lee Sang-min, Lee Su-ji, and Kai as fixed MCs, with the first broadcast airing on SBS at 10:10 PM on February 2. The premiere episode will feature guests Choo Sung-hoon and Jeon So-min, offering a variety of engaging stories.
