BTS's comeback performance will be broadcast live on Netflix. Netflix and HYBE announced that they will exclusively stream "BTS Comeback Live: ARIRANG" on March 21 at 8 PM. Additionally, the Netflix feature-length documentary "BTS: The Return," which captures the making of the "ARIRANG" album, will be released on March 27. This documentary highlights BTS's journey returning with a new album after 3 years and 9 months. Directed by Bao Nguyen and produced by This Machine, the film offers an intimate look at BTS's comeback journey. Since their debut in 2013, BTS has built global popularity, and the documentary includes footage of their music-making process in Los Angeles, USA.

This comeback performance is regarded as a significant milestone in Korean cultural history. BTS has previously performed at Gyeongbokgung Palace's Geunjeongjeon Hall and Gyeonghoeru Pavilion, but this is their first solo concert held in the heart of the city. They also revealed that Gwanghwamun Square was chosen due to the symbolic meaning of the word "Arirang."
