
Girl group Apink has solidified its global influence by achieving remarkable musical success across Asia, including China and Singapore.
The title track "Love Me More" from Apink's eleventh mini-album "RE : LOVE," released on the 5th of last month, ranked number one for three consecutive weeks from January 9 to 29 on QQ Music's K-pop Weekly Chart, the largest music streaming platform in China. This chart is a highly trusted indicator among K-pop fans in China, proving Apink's popularity in the Chinese-speaking region.
In Singapore, the group took first place for two consecutive weeks from January 19 to February 1 on "Strongest Korean Wave Room," the K-pop chart of the radio channel YES 933 operated by Mediacorp. This chart is a key indicator of the popularity of K-pop music within Singapore.
Apink's mini-album entered the iTunes Top Albums charts in 19 regions, including Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. As of February 2, the title track "Love Me More" consistently ranks high on the Apple Music chart in China, the iTunes Top Songs chart in Singapore, and the Shazam charts in both Korea and China.
Building on these global achievements, Apink is preparing for their Asia tour "The Origin : APINK." The tour will begin on February 21 and 22 at Jangchung Arena in Seoul, followed by stops in major Asian cities including Taipei on March 7, Macau on March 21, Singapore on April 4, and Kaohsiung on April 11. This tour is designed to celebrate the team's 15th anniversary with performances that reflect their history and narrative.
Apink's eighth solo concert "The Origin : APINK" will open at Jangchung Arena in Jung-gu, Seoul, at 6 p.m. on February 21 and 4 p.m. on February 22.
