Choo Sung-hoon spoke out about his wife Shiho Yano's remarks on divorce. On SBS's new variety show "No, But Really!", Choo Sung-hoon revealed, "I also think about divorce every time." The program premiered on the 2nd, and Choo appeared alongside MCs Tak Jae-hoon, Lee Sang-min, Lee Soo-ji, and Kai.
During the broadcast, Choo Sung-hoon shared his thoughts on Shiho Yano's comment about divorce being "every single time." MC Tak Jae-hoon joked, "There are rumors that Choo Sung-hoon has already been kicked out," causing laughter. Then MC Lee Sang-min said, "Shiho Yano said, 'Choo Sung-hoon is too busy. I need a boyfriend.'" In response, Choo said, "That would be nice. Having such a friend would make my wife happy too."
Kai pointed out, "That means she's lonely," but Choo replied, "She has to live her own life. (With friends of the opposite sex,) she can have coffee, eat, and drink." When Kai asked, "Since you're so busy, does that mean she wants you to work less and spend time with her?" Choo answered, "I have no money. If I earn a little, she gets mad," which made everyone laugh.
Choo Sung-hoon and Shiho Yano married in 2009 and had a daughter, Choo Sarang, in 2011. Recently, their remarks about divorce on variety shows have raised concerns about their relationship. Last December, Shiho Yano appeared on SBS TV's "Take Off Your Shoes, Divorce Men" and answered "every single time" when asked if she had ever considered divorce.

On this broadcast, Choo Sung-hoon candidly said, "If my wife thinks about divorce every time, I think the same." Tak Jae-hoon added, "She pretends to be tough. She said 'every time,' but her eyes wavered." These remarks sparked various interpretations of their relationship.
Lee Sang-min reported, "There's a tip from outside. Shiho Yano said, 'Choo Sung-hoon is too busy. I need a boyfriend.'" Choo responded coolly, "That would be nice. Having such a friend would make my wife happy."
Choo Sung-hoon said, "I have many female friends. Some are known to my wife, some are not," and explained, "For example, if a female friend has many questions for me or if I want to help, I help." Hearing this, Lee Sang-min pointed out, "That's a dangerous situation," but Choo said, "Actually, I just helped as a friend, but one friend liked me. When that happened, I cut off the relationship. I've never wavered."
This candid talk about their marital relationship is not the first time. Last year, Shiho Yano surprised everyone by answering "every time" when asked if she had considered divorce on SBS's "Take Off Your Shoes, Divorce Men." On MBC's "The Manager," she mentioned their current living situation, saying, "Choo Sung-hoon has to be in Korea, and Sarang has to be in Japan because of school, so I am in Japan," referring to their temporary separation due to circumstances.
Some reacted to their remarks by saying, "Are they just a show couple?" or "Those words are too harsh to be just talk." On the other hand, some opinions stated, "Variety shows are just variety shows," and "Such remarks are possible because they trust each other."
Choo Sung-hoon and Shiho Yano are a couple married for 17 years, recently sharing their daily lives through their individual YouTube channels. They still seem to respect each other's lives and maintain their relationship.
