From noon on January 19 to noon on February 2, the final round of voting for the FANNSTAR ‘TMA Best Music – Winter’ category at The Fact Music Awards (TMA) was held over two weeks. As a result, Lee Chan-won’s song “Somehow Today” took first place.

The ‘TMA Best Music – Winter’ category featured artists who released music between October and December of last year, excluding OSTs and event-based collaborations. Following preliminary voting, a total of 20 teams advanced to the final round, including Kang Daniel, NEXZ, LE SSERAFIM, Park Changgeun, Baekho, BOYNEXTDOOR, Stray Kids, AHOF, &TEAM, ATEEZ, Yeonjun, WOODZ, WEi, YoonA, ISEGYE IDOL, Lee Chan-won, JANNABI, PLAVE, Hoshi, and Hwang Youngwoong (listed in alphabetical order by team name), drawing attention from global fans.

Amid fierce competition across various genres, Lee Chan-won’s “Somehow Today” achieved the remarkable feat of finishing first. Yeonjun’s “Talk to You” placed second, while Hwang Youngwoong’s “Oppa Is Back” ranked third, demonstrating the strong power of their fandoms. Among many group acts, solo artists stood out, and the trot genre continued to show unwavering popularity and presence.

According to the results, the first-place winner will receive the ‘Best Music – Winter’ trophy in the FANNSTAR category at the 2026 The Fact Music Awards. The second-place artist will receive advertising exposure on Bus No. 273, while the third-place artist will be granted a digital bus shelter advertisement at Sinnonhyeon Station in Gangnam.

Meanwhile, ‘TMA Best Music’ is a quarterly voting program for artists who have released music. Voting for the upcoming ‘TMA Best Music – Spring’ category will begin later, with detailed schedules available on the FANNSTAR website and official social media channels.
