Monsta X to release digital single 'growing pains' in the US on the 6th

Monsta X will release the U.S. digital single "growing pains" on the 6th. On the 1st, they revealed a teaser video for the new song during the closing stage of the "2026 Monsta X World Tour 'The X: Nexus'" held at KSPO Dome in Olympic Park, Seoul.

The teaser video, about 13 seconds long, shows the members enjoying a relaxing time at the beach. They wrote the fandom name, Monbebe, in the sand and shared small moments like taking photos together. The video features refreshing sounds of waves along with a part of the new song, evoking the feeling of summer.

"growing pains" honestly expresses the loneliness and wandering experienced while chasing dreams and contains the will to move forward. This song combines warm vocals of the members over an emotional pop-based lyrical melody and is expected to become Monsta X's healing song.

Monsta X celebrated their 10th debut anniversary last year by releasing the commemorative album "THE X." This album charted on several global charts, including the U.S. Billboard main chart, the "Billboard 200." Additionally, in November last year, they expanded their musical spectrum by releasing the U.S. digital single "baby blue." This song received attention from the U.S. economic magazine Forbes and the British music magazine NME, proving Monsta X's global influence.

The "The X: Nexus" concert took place from January 30 to February 1 at Seoul KSPO Dome, where they showcased a stage summarizing their journey and expanded musical synergy. The concert received enthusiastic responses from fans.

In December last year, Monsta X participated in the U.S.'s largest year-end festival, the "2025 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour," performing in four cities including Madison Square Garden in New York. They received great support from local fans, and their performances were spotlighted by U.S. Rolling Stone and Billboard.

The new song "growing pains" will be released at midnight on the 6th through various online music sites. Monsta X plans to present a deeper and more diverse musical world through the new song. The agency stated, "Following last year's achievements and the successful start of the world tour, please pay attention to the message Monsta X conveys through the new song."
