RIO, a member of the group NiziU, has shared her distinct preference for wired earphones over the currently popular wireless versions.

In the "What's in RIO's Bag?" video posted on NiziU's official YouTube channel on the 5th, RIO connected with fans by introducing various items she carries in her favorite daily bag.

Among the items in her bag that day, the wired earphones particularly caught everyone's eye. Regarding her choice to stick with wired earphones instead of wireless ones or headphones, RIO shared a practical and honest reason: "I often lose one side of wireless earphones while sleeping during travels, and headphones feel too heavy on my head." Thus, she explained her preference for lightweight wired earphones.

Meanwhile, NiziU is gearing up for their second EP release with an arena tour across five Japanese cities, titled "NiziU Live with U 2026 'NEW EvoNUtion'." Starting in Aichi on February 14-15, the tour will continue to Hokkaido (27-28), Osaka (March 7-8), Tokyo (18-19 and 21-22), and Fukuoka (28-29), meeting fans through a total of 12 performances.
