Lee Seung-yoon said, "I started playing the guitar in sixth grade by playing Panic's 'Waiting.' When I made a song, I thought, 'A song is being made? I'm a genius. I'm going to conquer the world.' I decided to become a rock star and started making songs from then on." He added that at first, he was shy to sing in front of others and only talked about doing music until he was 23.

His first stage was at the college song festival. Lee Seung-yoon recalled, "My oldest brother said, 'What kind of music is playing guitar alone in your room? Music is music when someone listens to it.' Out of anger, I applied to the college song festival. That was my first stage in life."

During the broadcast, when footage of Jung Jae-hyung and Lee Hyori hosting the college song festival 15 years ago was shown, 10CM asked, "Why is it so pure?" Lee Seung-yoon recalled his feelings at the time and replied, "It was when I thought, 'The world will turn upside down tomorrow.' As far as I know, Jung Jae-hyung senior didn't MC much back then. It was my first stage, and my heart was pounding, but when Jung Jae-hyung senior said, 'Yes, Lee Seung-yoon,' his face kept trembling. I stopped trembling. He is my benefactor."
