Stray Kids member I.N donated 100 million won to celebrate his birthday. On February 8, I.N delivered a donation to the National Cancer Center to give back the love he received from fans on his birthday. This donation will be used to cover medical expenses for vulnerable cancer patients receiving treatment at the National Cancer Center and to support psychological therapy for pediatric and adolescent cancer patients.
In his donation remarks, I.N said, "I wanted to share the love I received from fans and hope that the days of those enduring long treatments become a little warmer. Although it is a small contribution, I hope it brings hope and courage, and I sincerely wish for their speedy recovery."
The National Cancer Center explained that I.N's donation is meaningful in alleviating the economic and emotional burdens experienced by patients and their families during treatment, helping them focus on recovery in a stable treatment environment. Director Yang Han-kwang of the National Cancer Center said, "I.N's warm sharing will be a great comfort and strength to patients and families exhausted by treatment. We will responsibly use the precious donation to ensure it effectively supports patient treatment and psychological care, in accordance with the donor's wishes."
I.N has been practicing the value of sharing through consistent donation activities. In 2024, he was appointed as the youngest member (age 23) ever to join the Green Noble Club, a group of high-value donors who have donated over 100 million won to the child welfare organization Green Umbrella. Last year, he donated treatment expenses for pediatric cancer patients at Samsung Seoul Hospital on his birthday. Additionally, in April 2025, he participated with Stray Kids members in sharing activities to support recovery from wildfires in the Gyeongnam and Gyeongbuk regions, and in November, for recovery efforts from a fire in Hong Kong.
Stray Kids established their status as a "global top artist" with major achievements in 2025. They plan to continue active promotions in 2026. On June 6, they will perform at The Governors Ball Music Festival in New York, USA, and on September 11, they will headline at Rock in Rio in Brazil. They intend to continue their music activities while engaging with global audiences.
I.N's donations and Stray Kids' activities are gaining attention as examples of fulfilling social responsibility beyond communication with fans. They are exerting a positive influence through music and practicing the value of sharing through continuous donations and social participation. I.N's donation is recognized as a meaningful act that goes beyond simple financial support, giving hope and courage to patients.
