The group JO1 embarked on a special challenge themed around the number '101' to mark the 101st episode of their official YouTube content, "Hi! JO1".

In the recently released 101st episode, the members performed three '101 Challenges' with rewards promised if they cleared two or more missions.

In the first mission, the '101-Second Stopwatch Challenge,' members had to measure time based on intuition without looking at the stopwatch, aiming for a combined total of 101.x seconds. Keigo Sato and Takumi Kawanishi started strong with 12.93 and 12.41 seconds, respectively. The final runner, Ren Kawashiri, accurately calculated the remaining time and recorded 15.22 seconds, achieving a dramatic success by a mere 0.1-second margin.

The second mission involved eating exactly 101 sponge cakes by intuition, but they narrowly failed by eating 102 cakes. However, in the final mission, 'Sticking 101cm of Masking Tape,' the members' wit combined with the production team's mercy led to the successful completion of two missions.

After finishing all missions, the reward awaiting the members was 'Premium Beef'. But when the members opened the envelope with high expectations, they found 'Meat-patterned Cushions' and 'Towels' instead of real meat, turning the set into a sea of laughter. Despite being flabbergasted, the members showed their signature positive energy, saying, "These would be great as pillows".

Through this 101st special, JO1 members confirmed their deepened teamwork and brought joy to their fans.
