Singer Jung Dong-won is helping families of children with cancer by donating 700,000 won from the Seonhan Star King competition prize. The Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation announced on the 11th that the prize donated in Jung Dong-won's name will be used for care and treatment expenses for families of children with pediatric cancer, leukemia, and rare incurable diseases.

This donation was made possible through the continuous support of Jung Dong-won's fandom, 'Universe Mobilization.' The funds will be promptly allocated to families of children under 19 years old with pediatric cancer and rare incurable diseases who are facing financial difficulties due to sudden medical expenses. The support covers additional treatment-related costs and living expenses incurred during the treatment process. These include transportation, food expenses, and the purchase of medical supplies, aiming to minimize treatment interruptions.

Including this prize, Jung Dong-won's total donations have reached 54.41 million won. These donations have been used for various expenses such as surgery fees, chemotherapy costs, and the purchase of rare medicines, providing practical assistance to patients and their guardians.

On the 5th, Jung Dong-won released the mini-album 'Small Works Vol.2.' The album includes the double title tracks "Crossing Today, Meeting Again Tomorrow" and a remake of Byun Jin-sub's original song "To You, Once Again." He is scheduled to hold a fan concert titled "Crossing Today, Meeting Again Tomorrow" at Kintex in Ilsan on the 13th. This concert will be Jung Dong-won's last meeting with fans before enlisting in the Marine Corps on the 23rd.
