The group ZEROBASEONE will be reorganized as a five-member team. On the 12th, the agency WakeOne announced in an official statement that Seong Hanbin, Kim Jiwoong, Seok Matthew, Kim Taerae, and Park Geonwook will continue their activities as ZEROBASEONE. WakeOne explained, "This decision was made with a united heart after thorough discussions between the artists and the agency."

Jang Hao, Ricky, Kim Gyubin, and Han Yujin will leave the team after completing the designated project period. WakeOne expressed support for their future paths and asked for continued encouragement for the members who will be taking new directions.

ZEROBASEONE was formed through Mnet's "Boys Planet" in April 2023 and officially debuted on July 10, 2023, with the mini-album "YOUTH IN THE SHADE." This album set a record for the highest debut album sales with 1.82 million copies sold within a week of release. The project's end date was originally scheduled for January 10, 2026, but was extended to March 16 due to its popularity.

WakeOne stated that it will provide full support to ensure the activities of the five-member lineup stabilize successfully. They also promised to continuously communicate so that all members can grow together as partners.

In WakeOne's official statement, it was emphasized that "the musical legacy built together by the nine members under the name ZEROBASEONE will not remain at a specific point in time but will continue to expand and sustain its vitality in various ways and possibilities."

Additionally, they added, "Although there may be changes in the form of activities, the values and identity we have shared will remain unchanged."

WakeOne announced that all nine members will appear together on stage to meet fans during the "2026 ZEROBASEONE WORLD TOUR [HERE & NOW] ENCORE" performance. Detailed future activity plans will be provided as they are finalized.
