
Black Pink is collaborating on a project with the National Museum of Korea. On the 12th, YG Entertainment announced, "From the 26th of this month to the 8th of next month, we will present the 'National Museum X Black Pink' project." This collaboration marks the first official partnership between a K-pop artist and the National Museum of Korea. The global music streaming platform Spotify is participating as an official partner.
During the project period, the exterior of the National Museum of Korea will be decorated with pink lighting, the signature color of Black Pink. Visitors can participate in a listening session featuring tracks from the mini-album "DEADLINE." This session will take place in front of the Gwanggaeto the Great Stele located in the main lobby's "Path of History." Some time slots will be reserved for special sessions exclusively for Spotify Premium users.
Pre-listening reservations can be made through Naver Reservation starting at 8 PM on February 19th. From the album release date on the 27th, anyone can freely participate during the museum's operating hours. Members of Black Pink will also participate in audio docent tours about eight representative Korean cultural heritages, playing a role in promoting Korean culture to the world.
YG Entertainment described the project as "a fresh attempt that crosses the boundaries between music and cultural heritage," and stated that it is expected to attract significant attention from both domestic and international cultural circles and the public. Black Pink's mini-album "DEADLINE" will be released simultaneously worldwide at 2 PM (KST) on the 27th. It includes a total of five tracks, including the title track "GO." The pre-release tracks include "JUMP," "Me and my," "Champion," and "Fxxxboy."
