The fan club of singer Young Tak, Santakclothes, carried out a donation activity for elderly households living alone. Santakclothes announced on the 13th that they delivered 520kg of eco-friendly rice to 73 elderly households through the Wuyang Foundation. This donation was made as a sharing effort to convey warm affection to lonely seniors during the holiday season.
Regarding the reason for selecting the donation items, Santakclothes explained, "We considered sharing that would provide practical help for the Lunar New Year holiday, and judged that rice, which supports daily meals, was the most needed aid." The Wuyang Foundation selected recipient households by region and managed the delivery process to enhance the effectiveness of the support. This was to ensure that assistance reaches those who truly need it.
A representative of the Wuyang Foundation said, "Thanks to the continuous sharing of Young Tak's fan club Santakclothes every holiday, many seniors are able to spend a warm holiday," adding, "Especially, the support of eco-friendly rice considering health is a great help." This donation is meaningful in that it goes beyond simple food aid to also consider health.
Santakclothes prepared rice grown using eco-friendly farming methods, conveying a message of supporting safe food provision and sustainable agriculture together. A representative of Santakclothes said, "We wanted to help ensure that the most basic meal during the holiday could be stable," and added, "We chose eco-friendly rice with the health of the seniors in mind."
Santakclothes, the donation fan club of Young Tak, has been continuously practicing 'good influence' through social contribution activities since 2021. They have been expanding a culture of support into social sharing by continuously carrying out support for vulnerable groups and donation campaigns. Santakclothes stated, "We hope that support for the artist leads to positive changes in society," and "We plan to continue sharing to help neighbors in need."
Singer Young Tak has launched a YouTube channel called 'ParkYoung Tak' where he shares small daily moments outside the stage. He continues his activities by appearing every Monday at 8:30 PM on KBS's 'Dogs Are Incredible' and at 10:10 PM on tvN's 'Naked History.'
