Singer Lee Chan-won revealed behind-the-scenes footage of the rehearsal for 'Changa: A Brilliant Day.' On February 11, Lee Chan-won released the rehearsal behind-the-scenes video on the official YouTube channel. The video shows Lee Chan-won practicing singing ahead of the concert.
Lee Chan-won arrived at the rehearsal room wearing a khaki T-shirt and light attire, greeting the band members. He began practicing by singing "Somehow Today," the title track of his second full-length album. During the rehearsal of "Paper Crane," he stood up and clapped to elicit a response from the audience. Despite it being a rehearsal, Lee Chan-won immersed himself as if it were a live performance.
When there were mismatches in the ensemble and timing, he showed quick reflexes by responding immediately. Even during vocal practice, he meticulously checked the length of the accompaniment and the choir's volume, demonstrating a professional attitude by confirming every detail for a perfect performance.
Next, the D-1 rehearsal scene for the 'Changa' concert was revealed. After consulting with the director about the stage movements, Lee Chan-won looked at the "Dear My CHAN's Ring," which he had coordinated with fans in the waiting room, seemingly thinking of his fans. He entered the stage to the opening music and sang.
He carefully checked the stage movements for each scene and even requested to have the movements written down in advance before the rehearsal. He focused on dance practice, coordinating with the choreography team. For the slow-tempo songs, he approached the rehearsal with a serious attitude. Lee Chan-won also practiced the large-scale samulnori performance prepared as the highlight of this concert.
During the stage combined with "Jinttobaegi," he showed a cute reaction, surprised by the part where the Bukcheong Lion raises its upper body, bringing laughter. As the rehearsal neared its final stage, Lee Chan-won put on a fedora, went on stage, and naturally moved his body to the rhythm of "Rock and Roll Life." He ended the rehearsal with a final stage greeting, making it feel like an actual concert.
Lee Chan-won's rehearsal scene evoked the image of a "brilliant day," just like the concert title. Starting with the Jinju performance from February 21 to 22, Lee Chan-won will continue the concert in Gwangju from March 7 to 8, and in Daejeon from March 28 to 29. He is scheduled to appear as the sole MC of KBS's "Seol Special 2026 Lucky Trot Festival" and also as an MC for the "33rd Hanteo Music Awards 2025."
Lee Chan-won's rehearsal video provided fans with a chance to glimpse his passion and preparation process. As anticipation for the concert grows, Lee Chan-won is prioritizing communication with fans and making thorough preparations for the performance.
