
Singer Jung Dong-won successfully concluded his fan concert. On January 13th, Jung Dong-won held the 2026 fan concert "Crossing Today, Meeting Again Tomorrow" at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 1, Hall 1 in Ilsan, meeting with 3,000 fans. After the opening VCR, Jung Dong-won announced the start of the performance by singing "Only U" from his second full album. He then passionately sang "Real Man," sharing a special time with his fans. He greeted the fans, saying, "This is the last time I meet with Woosoo Chongdongwon before enlisting in the military. I think today is the first step toward the path and day when we will meet again."
During the concert, performances of "Little Doll" and "Lie," tracks from the "Sopumjip" series, followed. Then, a special event corner called "To. Twenty-Year-Old Dongwon" took place. In this segment, letters from fans contained in the time capsule of the 2022 first mini-album "Handwritten Letter" were read. Jung Dong-won briefly performed songs matching the content of the letters, adding laughter to the venue. At the end of the segment, video letters from the top 5 contestants of "Mr. Trot" were shown, filling the concert hall with a warm atmosphere. Afterwards, Jang Min-ho, Young Tak, Kim Heejae, and Lee Chan-won made a surprise appearance from the back of the audience, sending hand hearts to Jung Dong-won and expressing their special affection. Jung Dong-won raised fans' expectations by stating, "I definitely want to hold a Top 6 concert after my discharge."
Jung Dong-won lifted the mood again with the "Easy Lover" performance. He then passionately sang "Hazy Flower," a track from his first mini-album, communicating with his fans. While singing "Forget-Me-Not" alongside his past videos, he said, "This is a song that has grown with my performances," adding deeper meaning to the stage. After singing "To You, Once Again," the double title track from the recently released "Sopumshop Vol.2," Jung Dong-won shared his feelings calmly, saying, "Although I felt a sense of accomplishment after finishing the concert, I also felt a strong sense of regret. But this time, it's only regret. Still, I will bravely get through it."
Jung Dong-won said, "Time may not pass quickly, but I will return healthy and even cooler. I will be the singer Jung Dong-won who firmly stands by your side," and greeted the audience with, "I will be back soon." He closed the concert by passionately singing "Crossing Today, Meeting Again Tomorrow" as the final song. Jung Dong-won expressed his thoughts, saying, "I thought a lot about how to say my last goodbye before going to the military, and I am grateful to be able to greet you on stage like this. Being able to create the first page of my twenties with you all made this a truly unforgettable day."
Although Jung Dong-won appeared briefly emotional and choked up, he swallowed his tears and continued singing until the end, completing the stage with a calm yet strong presence. He is scheduled to enlist at the Marine Corps Education and Training Command on January 23rd to fulfill his duty to the nation.
