Group BTS is conducting a large-scale campaign in major cities around the world. This campaign centers around the question, "WHAT IS YOUR LOVE SONG?" On the 14th, in celebration of Valentine's Day, an art wall filled with roses was installed at COEX in Seoul. The red roses symbolize love, and when citizens took the flowers stuck in the wall, the question and BTS's logo hidden behind the roses were revealed.
The same phrase was prominently displayed on the exterior wall of a building near Seongsu Station in Seoul, attracting many people's attention. Large posters were also hung throughout Manhattan's Times Square, East Village, SoHo, and Brooklyn streets in New York, and the phrase was broadcast on large LED screens at Waterloo and Bridge stations in London. This campaign is a global promotion planned to convey the message of BTS's fifth full-length album, "ARIRANG."
The new release deals with the team's identity and universal emotions such as deep love. Inspired by the feelings of profound love, BTS posed the question "WHAT IS YOUR LOVE SONG?" to the world. This question aims to naturally evoke the emotions of the album by prompting each person to recall their own "love song."
Big Hit Music, the agency, explained the meaning of the campaign: "'Love song' is more than just a simple love song; it is a song through which many people recall their memories and gain comfort and strength. We hoped that the question 'WHAT IS YOUR LOVE SONG?' would serve as an opportunity for everyone to think of the song in their hearts."
The campaign will continue in a new format until the 22nd. By scanning the QR codes on posters placed throughout Seoul, New York, and London, people can leave their own "love song" on the campaign site. BTS will release "ARIRANG" at 1 PM on March 20, and on the following day, the 21st, they will hold "BTS Comeback Live: ARIRANG" at Gwanghwamun Square. This stage will be broadcast live on Netflix.
This campaign is an event related to BTS's new release and is being held worldwide. The large-scale promotions in COEX and Seongsu-dong in Seoul, as well as in New York and London, contribute to strengthening communication with fans. Through this campaign, BTS conveys deep feelings of love to fans worldwide and once again emphasizes the comfort and strength their music provides.
BTS's "ARIRANG" embodies the team's identity and is expected to be an album that further strengthens the connection with fans. They encourage fans to recall their own "love song" and aim to share deeper emotions through music. Through this campaign, BTS spreads a message of love and solidifies bonds with global fans.
In conclusion, BTS's "WHAT IS YOUR LOVE SONG?" campaign goes beyond a simple promotion, offering an opportunity to reflect on the meaning of love and share personal emotions. They intend to communicate with people through music and share deep feelings of love.
