Hwang Young Woong to Perform on Its First External Stage at Gangjin Celadon Festival... Attracting 8,000 Spectators

Singer Hwang Young Woong will hold a solo stage at the 54th Gangjin Celadon Festival on February 28. This festival will take place from February 21 to March 2 at the Jeonnam Gangjin Goryeo Celadon Museum area. Hwang Young Woong will perform at 4:30 PM on the 28th, marking his first official external event appearance, drawing significant attention.

The Gangjin Celadon Festival opens on the 21st with performances by singers Ahn Seong-hoon, Choi Soo-ho, and Seo Ji-o. On the 22nd, Son Bin Ah will take the stage, and on March 1, Kim Yong Bin and Geum Jandi will perform. On March 2, Motnani Samhyeongje and Hyun Jin-woo will appear to continue the festival. Hwang Young Woong's performance is considered the highlight of the festival.

An event official stated, "Approximately 8,000 people are expected to attend the performance on the 28th," adding, "Among them, about 5,000 have booked nearby accommodations and restaurants, making it currently difficult to secure rooms." It is also known that around 170 tour buses wrapped with Hwang Young Woong's face have been reserved. Banners promoting his performance have been installed throughout Jeonnam, creating a festive atmosphere.

Interest in Hwang Young Woong is also evident in the membership of his official fan cafe, 'Paradise.' As of February 14, the membership reached 62,563, placing it among the top fan cafes for male trot singers alongside Lim Young Woong, Kim Ho-joong, Lee Chan-won, and Park Seo-jin. The fan cafe continues to see steady growth in new members.

Recently, Hwang Young Woong actively addressed concerns by publicly releasing his school records through an official statement. After leaving MBN's 'Burning Trotman' in 2023, he will appear on a local government festival stage for the first time in about three years. Following the Gangjin festival, he has received over a dozen event appearance offers, and negotiations for appearances on terrestrial music broadcasts are currently underway.

A Gangjin County event official said, "We are fully committed to safety management as a large crowd is expected on the day." Hwang Young Woong's security team is also strengthening on-site route inspections and personnel deployment to prevent safety accidents.

This Gangjin Celadon Festival is receiving much attention as Hwang Young Woong's comeback stage, and his performance is expected to contribute to the successful hosting of the festival.
