Group Seventeen has achieved 200 million streams. According to the global audio and music streaming platform Spotify on February 17, the cumulative streams of "Darl+ing," included in Seventeen's 4th full album "Face the Sun," reached 200,504,000 as of the 15th.
"Darl+ing" is Seventeen's first English song, released as a pre-release single of "Face the Sun" in April 2022. The song was written and composed by member Woozi and producer Bumzu, conveying the message, "We become a complete whole only when we are ourselves."
The song ranked number one on the Worldwide iTunes Song chart immediately after its release and also topped the real-time and daily "Song Top 100" charts on Line Music, a major Japanese music site. Additionally, it entered the Billboard Global 200 and Global (Excluding U.S.) charts, receiving great response overseas.
Seventeen has recently achieved consecutive 100 million streaming records on Spotify, showing continuous popularity. The cumulative Spotify streams of the title track "Sonic" from the previously released 10th mini album exceeded 300 million, and the title track "LOVE, MONEY, FAME (feat. DJ Khaled)" from the 12th mini album also surpassed 100 million streams.
Seventeen will hold the first performances of the "SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_] IN ASIA" at Hong Kong Kai Tak Stadium on February 28 and March 1. They are also scheduled to perform at large stadiums in Singapore, Bangkok, and Bulacan. Furthermore, they will hold encore performances at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium from April 4 to 5, marking the finale of their seven-month world tour.
Through these achievements, Seventeen is solidifying their position as a global artist. They continue to engage with fans through various musical attempts and plan to maintain active activities in the future.
