Actor Bae In-hyuk showcased a wide range of acting skills by playing the role of Seon Tae-hyung in episode 5 of the tvN Wednesday-Thursday drama "I'll Give You the Universe."

In the episode aired on the 18th, Seon Tae-hyung faced a crisis when he unexpectedly encountered his first love, Park Yoon-sung, at Woo Hyun-jin's house. Flustered, Seon Tae-hyung fell in the living room and was deeply disappointed by Woo Hyun-jin's attitude as she tried to hide him and Seon Woo-joo.

Later, Seon Tae-hyung and Woo Hyun-jin went camping to ease the awkward atmosphere. However, Seon Tae-hyung overheard Woo Hyun-jin telling Kim Ji-hyun that he was "a man who's not even family" and "someone who will leave soon anyway," which led to a misunderstanding. Seon Tae-hyung coldly turned away, pushing away the plate of meat Woo Hyun-jin offered. When Woo Hyun-jin went missing at the campsite, Seon Tae-hyung braved the rain to find her and eventually cleared up the misunderstanding.

Seon Tae-hyung carried trauma from his past when he was left at an orphanage and no one came to pick him up on a rainy day. Despite this, he searched for Woo Hyun-jin through the rain and found her fallen below a slope. Through Woo Hyun-jin's comforting words, "I'll come pick you up. I'll be your umbrella," Seon Tae-hyung began to heal his long-standing emotional wounds.

After the photo taken at the campsite and the rain incident, Seon Tae-hyung, bedridden with a cold, fully realized his true feelings. He confessed straightforwardly to Woo Hyun-jin, who stayed by his side nursing him all night, saying, "You know I hate waiting. I like you. That's why I keep making you wait."
