Former YG Entertainment producer Jo Seong-hwak (iHwak) has released a new mini-album titled Call It Love. The album was released on various online music platforms on the 18th. It contains a total of five tracks.
In particular, the track "Too Much (Feat. BOBBY)," featuring iKON's Bobby in his first release after military discharge, is gaining attention. "Too Much" is a funky song produced by Locoberry (Loco, Berry), with lyrics co-written by Jo Seong-hwak and Bobby. It stands out with its stylish and hip vibe.
The album also includes the title track "Call It Love," "A Masterpiece Called You" featuring virtual artist Soo Jin, and "What Could Be So Good."
Jo Seong-hwak worked as a producer at YG Entertainment, contributing to hit songs for various artists such as GOT7, WINNER, iKON, Wanna One, BIGBANG's Taeyang and Daesung, and EXO's Baekhyun. In October of last year, he began his career as a singer by officially remaking BIGBANG's "Fool of Tears" for the first time.
Locoberry, who discovered Jo Jazz and successfully produced "Don't You Know," is fully supporting Jo Seong-hwak's debut project as a producer. Following "Fool of Tears," Jo Seong-hwak plans to engage with the public through various broadcasts and YouTube activities with the album's title track "Call It Love."
